bonuz is the Human Layer between blockchains and people.

A chain-agnostic protocol layer that makes self-custody, on-chain identity, and programmable engagement usable for normal humans and brands β€” not just crypto natives. bonuz combines protocol infrastructure with consumer distribution in one system: identity and engagement protocols operated by Bonuz Inc., and apps, SDK, and distribution built by Bonuz Technology DMCC.


The Problem

Over 6 billion people are online, yet fewer than 70 million hold self-custody wallets. That's the 99% problem. Layer 1 and Layer 2 infrastructure exists. Middleware exists. What's missing is a standard Human Layer β€” one that feels Web2-simple for users, gives brands programmable on-chain engagement, and respects self-custody and sovereignty.

At the same time, brands are trapped behind Web2 platforms that own their audience relationships. They can't communicate directly with customers, loyalty programs are fragmented and siloed, and the age of AI is making verification and trust harder than ever.

The Solution

bonuz solves both sides with two core protocols and a full product stack:

  • bonuz ID Protocol β€” Portable, permissioned on-chain identity. Users own their wallet addresses, verified social handles, attestations (visits, achievements, reputation), and control exactly what apps and brands can see. Permissions are scoped and revocable.

  • bonuz Engagement Protocol (DNFT) β€” Dynamic NFT-based engagement rails for real-world and digital actions. Brands issue programmable passes, vouchers, memberships, tickets, loyalty punchcards, and Proof-of-Visit/Participation β€” all as stateful on-chain assets with built-in anti-fraud (signature-gated redemption, single-use QR/NFC codes, server-verified state updates).

  • Account & Identity Abstraction β€” Email or social login creates a self-custodial smart account behind the scenes (ERC-4337, 7702-ready). Gas is sponsored on bonuz core actions β€” claiming passes, redeeming vouchers, completing quests β€” so users never think about gas fees on key interactions.

The Product Stack

bonuz ships protocol rails and distribution together:

  • bonuz: Lifestyle Wallet (bonuz.xyz) β€” The consumer app. Onboarding in under 45 seconds via email or social login. Hold, send, receive, and swap across EVM chains, Solana, and Bitcoin. Manage all your passes, vouchers, memberships, and tickets in one place. Audited by Hacken (10/10), secured with MPC/TSS and MFA. Available in 22 languages.

  • bonuz ID (bonuz.id) β€” An optional on-chain social profile and biolink page. Users stay anonymous by default; when activated, bonuz ID aggregates verified social handles, links, wallet addresses, and attestations into a portable identity that works across the ecosystem. Can be added to Apple Wallet.

  • Brand Dashboard (app.bonuz.market) β€” Where brands create DNFT-based campaigns using templates for Events, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, and more. Define rules, distribute via QR/NFC/links, and monitor redemptions with real-time analytics β€” no development team required.

  • White-Label Apps & SDK β€” Major partners get minimal, brand-native apps built on bonuz protocols. Third-party developers integrate via the bonuz SDK, contributing users and graph growth into the shared Human Layer.

Network Effects

Every user, brand campaign, and SDK integration grows the bonuz graph β€” a shared network of identities, connections, attestations, and engagements. This creates compounding value: the more brands issue passes, the more users onboard; the more users carry bonuz IDs, the more valuable the ecosystem becomes for brands. Protocol rails plus distribution in one system.

Business Model

bonuz generates revenue through three pillars: SaaS (brand dashboard subscriptions and usage-based tiers), Enterprise (white-label setup, licensing, and revenue share), and Protocol fees (DNFT issuance/redemption, swaps, and premium identity services). A future $BONUZ token may serve as a fee payment, incentive, and governance mechanism pending regulatory clarity.

Traction & Backing

bonuz has been live on mainnet (Base) since October 2024, with 4 years of R&D behind it. Smart contracts are audited 10/10 by Hacken. The project is accepted into IGNYTE (Dubai Digital Economy initiative) and Dubai Founders HQ, and is backed by Google Cloud, NEAR, Biconomy, DMCC Crypto, Cypher Capital, and Crypto Oasis.

Vision

bonuz exists to make blockchains feel invisible to normal people while enabling self-sovereignty at scale β€” increasing the rate at which humans own their money, identity, and reputation.

The near-term goal is to become the simplest, most powerful consumer app that uses blockchain beyond just financial use-cases.

The long-term vision: a real-world operating system that integrates into AR glasses, GPS, and infinite engagement layers for blended digital-physical experiences. bonuz can literally upgrade every use-case and experience between users and their counterparty on scale. Creativity is the limitation.
